My students dropped like flies today! Seriously! I started the day with 20 students, by lunch I was down to 17, and by the end of the day 15! Most of you probably already know what happened….yes, STREP THROAT!! Ugh! By the time I left my room, I had scrubbed and cleaned everything I could!!! I am not getting sick – I’m just not doing it! I don’t have the time or energy to waste! Nope, not doing it!
I can hardly remember what we did in class today because every time I turned around one of my babies was leaving! On a positive note, my kids LOVED watching I’m Just a Bill today. They were so excited and amazed to know that the President doesn’t make all the laws and that there are other people making decisions in the government. Yayyy!!! Hopefully they shared something new at home tonight – I love when they go home and tell their parents a new fact they learned. It makes them feel so important and successful.
